The Wildwood Public School District is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students in kindergarten through twelfth grade from Wildwood, in Cape May County, New Jersey, United States.
Public school students from West Wildwood attend the district's schools as part of a sending/receiving relationship for grades K-12. For grades 9-12, students from North Wildwood and Wildwood Crest attend Wildwood High School as part of sending/receiving relationships.[3]
As of the 2009-10 school year, the district's three schools had an enrollment of 845 students and 106 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 7.97.[1]
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "A", the lowest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.[4]
